3. THE LOCATIONS
Enjoy amazing vistas, explore Scottish history, and educate yourself on everything whisky-related at one of the worlds’ most renown distillation areas. Our tours will allow you to visit a plethora of different distilleries starting from Speyside up to Campbeltown and the Majestic Highlands.
SPEYSIDE
Speyside is known as the most densely populated whisky region in the world, famous for fertile glens and, of course, the River Spey. They are known for being full of taste due to being made primarily with fruit such as apples and the use of honey, vanilla, and spices. The whisky in Speyside are widely known as Sherry casks matured and are amongst the most popular worldwide.
Our experience includes a tasting, located in the stunning Fleming rooms of Aberlour distillery.
ISLAY
Islay is the southernmost of the Inner Hebrides islands, off the west coast of Scotland. A magical island where most of the population is involved in whisky production. Famous for fiery, heavily peated whiskies. Our warehouse demonstration is to be hosted by a Lagavulin’s top ambassador, and a tasting and tour will be provided.
CAMPBELTOWN
Campbeltown whiskies are varied and full of flavour known to provide a vibrant taste with hints of salt, smoke, fruit, vanilla, and toffee mingle in whiskies of robust and rich character. Moreover, during this tour, you will learn more about the local area, gain behind-the-scenes access to Glen Scotia and Springbank and enjoy a tasting of some of the most expertly matured whiskies in the world.
HIGHLANDS
In this region, which also takes in the islands, has a huge diversity of flavours and characters. From lighter whiskies all the way through salty coastal malts, the Highlands offers a Scotch for all palates. Our experience will take you through to a variety of distilleries for tasing sessions, photo opportunities as well as a behind-the-scenes tour at the Lagavulin distillery.
LOWLANDS
Our experience and Tours allow you to enjoy an experience of learning the whisky making process with a local expert whilst sampling their unique beers and Lowland style whisky cocktails. The Glasgow city distillery, of Auchentoshan will provide a welcome pause for a tasting and unique tour by our partner ambassador at the distillery.
