In a world fraught with fraud, anxiety and suspicion when one wants to invest in non-traditional /alternative ways to enhance their portfolio, PAI is a leading partner by providing transparency and doing things the “right way” in order to diversify one’s income portfolio. PAI utilizes a unique combination of investment in alternative physical assets through sustainable sourcing and where possible, abiding by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

We endeavor to be fully transparent in all investment fees. Many asset managers work on very complex formulae or fee calculation methodologies which aren’t always transparent. When investing with PAI, all costs are calculated upfront thus removing investors’ worry of holding, maintaining and managing their physical asset portfolios be it precious metals, exotic beverages, fine art, etc.

To mitigate portfolio concentration risk, PAI offers a range of diverse physically backed assets. Currently, we offer exotic beverages (PEB) via single whisky casks. Later, we will offer fine art (PFA) and collectibles, investment grade exotic vehicles (PEV), and international real estate (PRE) opportunities for additional risk mitigation options.
Our Story
In 2019 our co-founders, two compliance professionals with over 35 years of combined experience in the energy, commodities and financial markets, decided there was a better way to invest one’s hard earned income. They created Paladin Alternative investments (PAI) with an ethos to always act in an ethical, transparent manner and ensure investors have access to a diversified portfolio of physically backed assets.
In late 2020 PAI launched its first investment channel Paladin Exotic Beverages™ (PEB). Through our PEB channel, you can invest in opportunities to own single whisky casks from the finest distilleries around the world.
Our name “Paladin”, pronounced /palədn/, embodies our ethos. The paladins (or Twelve Peers) were twelve fictional knights of legend, the foremost members of Charlemagne’s court in the 8th century. The word paladin was first used in Ancient Rome for a chamberlain (advisor) of the Emperor, and also for the imperial palace guard, called the Scholae Palatinae by Constantine.
We chose our namesake because we want to protect your investment portfolio by providing you access to physical assets that are ethically obtained, transparently priced, and diversify your risk.
